The main Mac client application that I suggest is Gizmo Project with you can download here. Gizmo is a free phone for your computer but is open source – so isn’t controlled by one company.

I often have use for this free skype for Mac alternative. Try Gizmo today!

I agree with these points – they are why I use a Mac too.

MoRU is an application that provides an enhanced interface to Apple’s Spotlight searching tool found in Mac OS X 10.4. MoRU allows you to create more powerful searches than is possible using the basic Spotlight interface, while improving usability.

I’ll post later to tell how it went and if I decided it was worth the $10.

The only other thing that is a bit negative is that the battery now only lasts up-to 15 minutes. We might buy a new one at some stage too.
